This is really very good indeed. It's folk music, jazzy in places, but excellent musicianship and a style that reminds me a lot of a country singer I listened to a lot when I was younger called Don Francisco. Lots of energy and passion here. This sort of album is what makes this (very lengthy!) journey worthwhile, every now and again I discover something that I would never have listened to ordinarily, but that I really find enjoyable. The album is rooted in folk, but with a little imagination doesn't become one long fairytale folk song after another. Plus it gets a little wierd around Flash Company, which I rather liked for its quirkiness.
Standout Tracks: Jordan, Across the Line, Flash Company (for the pure wierdness!), Fire Marengo
